There's 2 stores in Lafayette that have a decent selection of produce and meats - Walmart and Piggly Wiggly. I generally try to avoid Walmart as much as I can, but I'm going balls out to avoid them now.
I started to stop Walmart when they got rid of their AR's. Now there's absolutely no reason to go there.

You might want to do a bit more research first, Scott. Personally, I won't shop at ANY of those places regardless of convenience; mallwart, sam's club, costco all suck, but I'd choose any of them over amazon without the slightest hesitation. amazon is literally the single worst place to shop in what's left of America.

Just got back from the hardware store, finally getting to the flush valve mentioned before, practically no customers wearing masks. Supposedly we went under a state wide mask mandate Monday morning, so I ask the employee helping me find it, I don't use that store often, what's up with the lack of enforcement, their reply was " Fuck the governor and his mandates. I'm planning to shop there a lot more often from now on

ReplyDeleteI have one of those green pleated medical masks and I have carefully cut vertical slits between my mouth and nose. If I don't talk, it isn't too noticeable. But it is really the door guard who will hold you back. Once inside no one gives a shit. Most have their nose hanging out.
