CHICAGO (WGN) — Police have arrested a Chicago man in connection with the killing of a 7-year-old girl who was shot at a Fourth of July party Saturday night.
Reginald Merrill, 33, has been charged with first-degree murder and aggravated battery after Natalie Wallace was shot in the head at around 9:15 p.m.
Police said they believe three men got out of a vehicle Merrill was driving and opened fire. The shooting was reportedly a gang retaliation, and Natalie was struck while playing in her grandmother’s yard.

Throw the book at Reginald Merrill, but there seams to be another problem here, does any body else see something wrong with little Miss 7 year old Natalie Wallace playing in her grandmothers yard at 21:15 hours (9:15PM).
ReplyDeleteWhy? It was July 4th, fer chrissake. It was just starting to get dark. Fireworks here in Texas don't start until 9:45 pm because that's when it's finally dark enough, so I know it's got to be even later at Chicago's latitude.

ReplyDeleteNo need. This is Chicago. Free ride to Police Station, received an attaboy from PoPo then sent back on the street. Chicago wants to retain it's world title as having the most shootings and killings in a weekend.
DeleteDon't even give him a trial.....just shoot him in the head and throw him in a dumpster....
