Your Wednesday Morning Florida Report

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – For months now, “unsavory” people, including gang members, have been hosting massive parties at vacation rental homes with the intent of spreading COVID-19, according to Osceola County Sheriff Russ Gibson.

Since mid-March, the sheriff’s office has received more than 600 noise complaints, many related to what Gibson referred to as COVID-19 parties.

  1. AirB&B is a demon. Their lobby managed to get the Florida legislature to remove regulation of vacation rentals from the cities and now the state regulates from afar. I live in a beach town and one of my friends has a house across the street from him that allows 22 people at a time to stay there. Sounds like someone is being knifed in the pool at 7:30AM with the kids screaming, party all day all night. If a house like that was next to me, they would have a fire.
