Biden promises to kill economy if elected

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said, if elected, he would be willing to shut down the country again should there be a second wave of coronavirus in the US and scientists recommend the move to slow its spread.

“I would shut it down. I would listen to the scientists,” the former vice president told ABC News’ David Muir during a joint interview with his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris set to air in full Sunday night.

  2. A lot of people, myself included on occasion, have mused that once the election is over, there won’t be much purpose in hyping this so much but I’m not so sure. They’ve seen how obedient everyone has been, I doubt they’ll relinquish their new powers they’ve given themselves willingly.

  4. It's a given that Biden will kill the economy no matter what, if he is elected. A full shutdown would just do it faster than the rest of his platform.

  7. ...and in addition to shutting down the economy, he's going to raise taxes to some astronomical number to pay for his various pie in the sky Demonrat agenda items. 'Course how he's going to get MOAR taxes out of unemployed citizens and shuttered businesses remains to be seen, but being Demonrat, I'm sure he and Nazi
    Pelosi (assuming she doesn't get voted out of CONgress) will find a way.
