Mike. In a recent post, you said you’ve been to Tennessee and Georgia, giving speeches and filming for your new show. Before that, you were on the road shooting for Dirty Jobs. Is it really so important to film a television show in the midst of pandemic? Is it responsible of you to encourage this kind of behavior when infection rates are spiking? Don’t you watch the news? More and more cases every day – aren’t you concerned? Darlene Gabon
Hi Darlene
Of course, I’m concerned. I’m just not petrified.
On March 15th, the day after my part of the country was locked down, I posted a link to an interview with Dr. Michael Osterholm. I’m posting it again, because I believe you and everyone else in the country would benefit from listening carefully to what he has to say.

Had trouble reading that. The changing picture behind the type made it difficult to keep my place.
ReplyDeleteYeah,
DeleteI hear that’s a major symptom of it...
Web browsers have a "Zoom" feature in the drop down options. I find it's much easier to read at 120%. I do this for nearly every web site I like. Your mileage may vary.

Select the text with your mouse, highlighting white text on a blue background makes it easier for me.
DeletePretty much the same way I've been dealing with this from the very beginning to this day. I know it's a flu, I know some people will die from it, but the survival rate is around 99 percent. The media and politicians are blowing it up for political reasons, no doubt, and the sheeple are buying in to it
ReplyDeleteChances are that the vaccine that someday gets promoted will have side effects up the wahzoo, especially if it screws around with the DNA as some say is likely.
DeleteEarly results suggest you are correct.

It was so common sense, I'm sure every Panic Porn aficionado out there just completely ignored it.
ReplyDeleteAs more people test positive, but less people die, the numbers are starting to look like a bad flu season.
Mike's source predicts 480,000 deaths from this. As of today, it sits at 160,000+. I'm going to take precautions (wash my hands, politely distance, mask when I'm forced to) as if 480,000 is true, but I'm skeptical. We'll see.
Me too. 'Cept I call them Rabbit People (apologies to Col. Cooper).
ReplyDeleteI like Mike. Common sense and a damn good writer.

ReplyDeleteGo ahead, admit it Darlene. You're name is really Karen, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI agree with anonymous on the background. I think my eyes crossed several times trying to read the piece. But Mike is right. People respond to whatever the "officials" are selling, and seems to me they've gone overboard with this virus.
ReplyDeleteWhat I don't get is the big deal with discovering additional cases. The more people tested, the more cases, period. But eventually we reach a tipping point where the virus has no more Humans to infect and burns itself out. The dems want this thing to last at least through election day, and Big Phrma wants it to last at least until they develop a "vaccine" so they can make Billions in profit. And if the dems win this election, don't be surprised if you're branded a leper if you can't whip out your "certificate of vaccination" when trying to enter a Federal building.
