It's time, and past time, to form local groups for mutual assistance and security

I've said on several occasions in the past that we should get together with like-minded individuals and families, to help each other through economic and social hard times such as we're presently experiencing. I suggest that's now become a need rather than a nice-to-have. Things are deteriorating to the point that, as Benjamin Franklin said:

  1. There are twelve homes on my road including the three here on my farm here in the hills of the north central Buckeye and we are in the first stages of forming a group thanks to your encouragement . I read that article earlier from Brandon but probably because it was from him it didn't motivate me . I just can't find any confidence in the guy . Probably just me being Irish but he creeps me out and I quit reading him a while back . I personally know and trust seven of these neighbors but will have to diagnose the attitudes of most of the others . Two or three I know for sure are leftists and/or snitch types so we will have to deal with that . But I agree . The time is right . It is a toss up over which is the greater threat . Local politicians and leo's or BLM/antifa marauders . Either way we have a lot of firepower here locally and on a nice Sunday it sounds like CWII already in progress .

  2. I dont think there is much hope for this idea especially in blue hives. I tried and ended up having a productive talk with local law enforcement about how to move forward. Facefck is a non starter as its the main avenue for the Carens. The officer did suggest a neighborhood watch format on a neutral platform like Gab or similar. There is a weekly meeting spot that has folks showing up by word of mouth and that seems to have legs. I suggest talking about more stuff than guns and have a format for each meeting as rabbit holes are everywhere. Best of luck to all that venture this endeavor and patience is key!

  5. Start small, start slow. Start low key.

Neighborhood Watch. Call the neighbors t o see if they are OK. Maybe organize a CPR or First Aid class.

  6. Remember it took a generation to build this Antifa BLM organization of troublemakers. Do you remember the WTO Riots in Seattle? When did they happen? Wasn't George Bush President? Or was it Bill Clinton?

Yes, that long ago. In the years before and after that, they built an underground revolutionary organization, by slowing finding fellow travelers, the functionally insane, and stupid people looking for a good cause. They showed up to the antiwar protests, made friends, collected names and addresses. They showed up to the environmental protests and did the same.

They built a generation of protesters and rioters, and got their people into the local government. They showed up to the council meetings. They staffed the volunteer committees. They canvassed the neighborhoods for THEIR CANDIDATES. They won the grassroots struggles.

That is why they are winning.

  7. The problem for me is the long country road (one way in and out) that I live down has probably has less than 12 homes on it. Based on political yard signs, at least three are left wing idiots. Another called the police on a neighbor who shot his AR at targets. Police arrived, of course it was legal. Point is at least 1/3 of the home owners are unreliable for defense.

    2. Eventually, they can be used as sandbags, or scarecrows.
