MACON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Lafayette police are investigating an apparent accidental shooting that wounded a man at Walmart Tuesday night. MORE

Word is he was unloading his handgun for whatever reason in the parking lot and had an accidental discharge, wounding himself in the leg.
I'm sure it'll make the weekly paper, so I'll put up an update then.
Guy I worked with carried a .22 automatic in his pocket 'til one day he literally shot himself in the foot in a Shoney's (RIP) checkout line. I never heard exactly how it happened but this guy was really dumb.
Friend of mine works for a funeral home and was recently called to retrieve the body of a 70 year old woman. Turned out the Husband was "cleaning" a rifle in the kitchen and accidentally put a round through he eye. Never, ever become complacent with firearms. After you clear it, check it again please. I can't imagine what that poor man is going through.

ReplyDeletejokes aside, I respect the guy for putting the original video up to try and make it a teaching point.
