NY Politician Introduces Bill to Criminalize Sale & Manufacture of Firearms

U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- A politician in Brooklyn New York thinks he has come up with a brilliant solution to the crime wave currently sweeping through the Big Apple: Criminalize the sale and manufacture of firearms. New York City (among other urban areas controlled by anti-gun politicians) is facing a return to the bad old days of rising violent crime. It doesn’t take a sociologist or criminologist to see why.

  1. It's easy. All it takes is a Constitutional amendment, a 2/3 majority vote by both the House and the Senate, and ratification by the legislatures of 3/4 of the individual states. Alternatively, 3/4 of the states can call for a Constitutional Convention, but no amendment has ever attempted this process.

    In this political climate, Congress can't even agree on what day it is, so good luck with that.

    Anything less and this proposed legislation will be declared unconstitutional by lunchtime on the day it is passed.

  4. "what he really hopes to do is to create a work-around to the federal Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act" Another Demonrat pol trying to make a name for himself. I wonder what his ultimate ambition is, U.S. CONgressman, Senator, President? As the article states, U.S. district court will invalidate this thing almost as soon as the ink dry's.
