Intruders were met by armed homeowners at a Cullman County home, and now one of them is hospitalized with a gunshot wound, authorities said today.
The break-in happened early Monday at a residence in Garden City, said Sheriff Matt Gentry. Four suspects were making their way into the home when they encountered the homeowners.

As a regular reader of al.com, I can say with certainty that the author of that article, Carol Robinson, is a terrible writer. Leada Gore is another "writer" at al.com that is just as bad. Rarely is there an article written by one of those two that does not have an error or three.
