Shooter at Wisconsin riot arrested and charged with murder

A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged over the shootings in Kenosha, Wisconsin that left two protesters dead and another injured in a possible vigilante attack during the third night of unrest in the city.

Kyle Rittenhouse was arrested on Wednesday afternoon in his hometown of Antioch, Illinois and charged with first degree intentional homicide. Court records say the teenager 'fled the state of Wisconsin with the intent to avoid prosecution for that offense'. Antioch is about 15 miles from Kenosha.

This article shows much clearer pictures of what was happening than any other that I've seen. This, along with all the videos I've seen show a clear case of self defense.
What's going to fuck him though is the fact that he's not old enough to legally possess that weapon, and also that he traveled there, even though it was only 15 miles. Prosecutors can and will argue that he went looking for trouble.

  1. They seem to have left out that he works there. He was defending his place of employment. Also, there are pictures of him earlier in the day cleaning graffiti off of the walls there.

    1. This is the first I've heard that he works there. Thanks.

  2. looking for trouble isn't a crime. he shouldn't have found any, but the rioters were making trouble. if you want proximate cause, there it is.

  3. there are some better pics out there. the third guy, the one shot in the arm had on medic id but not much if any gear, then he pulled a glock 19, which after he was shot apparently couldn't physically let go of as it was still in his hand quite some time later as he was being bandaged. blew a gaping hunk out of his arm, he'll likely lose it.

  4. Thinking his age doesn't much matter, as longarm possession in both Wisconsin and Illinois doesn't seem to have an age requirement.

    1. I wasn't aware there was no age limit. Thanks.

    2. Probably to purchase, but not to possess.

    3. Backwards. 18+ to purchase. 14-17, rifle possession without adult supervision if hunter safety class completed. Wi is castle doctrine state, no duty to retreat. Kid was physically attacked before he fired and was on the ground and vulnerable when threatened by a larger group. Clear self-defense.

    1. You mean sex-felons rioting, sex-felons in BLM, sex-felons in Antifa, or that sex-felons are not all castrated-hung-drawn/quartered but are free to roam the streets?

    2. Yup first DOA was a registered sex offender who was "not in compliance" (BTW his offense? Sex with a minor under the age of 14.) Second DOA was a multiple offense wife beater who's rap sheet includes strangulation and weapon charges, and the idiot who had most of his bicep removed was a felon, aka prohibited possesser, and was commiting a felony just by holding that Glock...

Kid should get a steak dinner and a metal, not felony charges.

  6. Sounds like it's time for an armed group of concerned citizens to show up at the jail and courthouse and demand his release. Since everyone these days is making demands and all. It would be hilarious seeing the cops back down...again.

  8. Murder charge? Not seeing it. Shooting animals trying to kill you is called self-defense. If he's underage, out of state and carrying, charge him with that, but quite frankly I just don’t see how authorities can hold that 17 year old kid up to one standard of law while ignoring the law and enabling and encouraging low-life malcontents to get away with rioting, burning property, looting, rape and murder. They threw the law into the dumpster the moment they relinquished their obligation to abide by the oath they took to uphold the law and protect the citizens! Now they're all indignant that this resulted from it? Hand me the phone, I'm calling Bullshit!

I agree, but a double-standard legal system has been going on for a very long time. It used to be that connected people got to skate, now it's also for low lifes.

Always remember who put us into this mess of worshipping stupid, violent people (on the basis of their supposed victimhood, always with the victimhood). Those people are the REAL problem. The BLM vermin on the street are only a symptom, not the cause. I once lived in a place where we had a problem with pigeons crapping all over the place. But the root cause of the problem wasn't the pigeons, it was the asshole neighbor who put food out to attract all the pigeons (and rats, and raccoons, and other manner of nuisance).

  9. You have to be 18 to PURCHASE a long gun, you don't have to be any age (minus some states) to possess it. gifts, in the family, etc.

  11. Even with an age limit, it would make an interesting test case for the courts. Do citizens under the age of 18 have a God given right to self preservation, or don't they? If they dont, then perhaps the Army should be forbidden from recruiting them until they are old enough to possess firearms in their state.

    1. I do recall a few home intruders being shot by young children over the past few years. I don’t recall age being an issue. Besides, 17 rides a fine line between adulthood and childhood as many people 17 years of age are tried as adults. More and more evidence seems to be coming out in this kids favor. Looks like the headshot was most likely from a rioter shooting at Rittenhouse.

  12. I've yet to see any video of the start of this incident. The earliest is at the shop, where the shooter is being chased, leading to the first -- headshot -- and then the chase down the street. Whether this is self defense hinges on who started it. Why were they chasing him towards the shop? Did the rambunctious animals start crap with the him? Did he shove or threaten (not warn, threaten) them?

So far, everything screams "self defense" to me, but I still haven't seen the real beginning. If anyone has a link to earlier video or pictures, drop it at:

  13. Supposedly the “victim” with the mangled arm is felon. I’m Wisconsin to my knowledge , you have to be 18 to possess a handgun. No age for a long gun.

  15. Soros organizations pumped a lot of money into local elections for district attorneys. Now we are seeing why. They won't prosecute the rioters and looters, but they will quickly press charges against those who defend themselves. Besides this case, there is the couple in St. Louis who were charged for brandishing weapons, or some similar silly charge. Maybe my tin foil hat is on a little snug today, but I would say that this civil unrest has likely been planned for some time now.

  22. After he is acquitted or charges are dropped, he desperately needs to sue the D.A. for malicious prosecution. I watched the video, it was clearly self-defense.

Furthermore, if you commit a felony and a someone dies, the person committing the felony is guilty of murder. The rioters need to be charged with murder in this case.

  23. I'd like to know if any of the business(es) or homes that these White supremicists and racists were protecting were owned by blacks. So, then you have mostly, or all White and likely Trump supporters, keeping mostly White Biden/BLM/Anitifa from torching black owned businesses and property. The irony, it burns. No pun intended.
