NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – A Norman private practice is left with a serious amount of damage after an alleged drunk driver veered off the road early Sunday morning.
Dr. Joshua Powell and his employees are left to clean up a mess at his office near 24th Avenue and West Robinson.
“It could’ve been disastrous if it was the day time,” Dr. Joshua Powell said.
Ophthalmologist Dr. Joshua Powell says he still can’t believe his eyes Sunday after pulling up to yellow tape surrounding his office.

Looks like cheap ass brick work. My old man would have built that with 8 inch concrete block, one inch rebar every third core and the whole thing grouted with 6 bag concrete and just a brick facing. That fucker wouldn't have walked away with out injuries.

DeleteMy neighbor lived in a single story brick house. We went out for dinner, came home to lots of blue lights. A drunk HS kid left a party, drove his car completely thru a 6 foot corner of the house. The entire corner gone. FYI - the kid went back to the party, drank a bunch of liquor so he could not get arrested from drunk driving. So yea, a car can take out a residential wall.
