The shit I post on Facebook

It hurt my heart when I saw #14 - he needs to clean the corrosion off and replace and stagger the gaps in those gas rings.

  2. How many of your readers are searching for what 14 is to prove their manhood.

    1. I don't know what it is and suspect it is part of the carrier group in an AR15 platform rifle.
Some of us do not own any AR15 style rifles, myself included.
I prefer the looks and feel of old rifles and have ex-commie guns both bolt and semi auto, as well as a few old USA firearms, to take care of new commies; probably none are worth more than couple hundred dollars.
Besides, to fit in with the others, it would need to be sporting a eye-catching and functional bayonet.
(I don't think they make a bayonet attachment for the AR15 platform or is that only available through the CCN Store?) :)

    2. I don't own any ARs. Not into poodle hunting.

If you want to do a real test, drop an M14 bolt on the table. We'll find out quick who the real men are.

M14: Turning cover into concealment for over 60 years. :-)

    3. I believe that the M14 was generally used for less than 20 years, and holds the distinction of being the shortest serving standard issue rifle for the US Army.

It was overmatched by the AK series and sucks in general for modern combat (statistically less than 200m).
The M14 was even beat in testing by the T48 FAL.
Had Army Ordinance not been so pigheaded, we might still be using the FAL in .270British.....

Instead, we got the Stoner AR15/M16 series......the gun that practically everyone that has the choice of firearm to use on real 2-way ranges uses.

.mil ball ammo sucks, though for both. Use SP ammo for better results.

    1. I agree. Anyone who can't tell the difference between A BCG and a bolt should have to take a nice long run.

    2. That is the bolt, not the BCG.
