  1. Looks like the Filthy Thirteen, what the movie Dirty Dozen was based on.

  2. God bless this hero. I imagine he would like to take a few of the Antifa types behind the woodshed for a little explaining. You know, teach 'em how to fly right!

  5. God Bless You Sir. We can only hope that some future generation has the dedication and pure unabashed BALLS should the need arise in the future.

  7. It makes me so sad, that so very many of our heroes from this generation are passing so quickly, the further we get from the war. May we never forget, as a nation the tremendous sacrifice that the entire country made, to defeat pure unadulterated evil.
Sadly, it seems that as a nation, the evil we face is now found within. How we can defeat this evil, who knows? But the war against it, is definitely on.

John Finn (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_William_Finn) used to come to the USS Asheville about once a quarter. The first time he came aboard, Petty Officer of the Deck announced "Metal Of Honor, Arriving" and the Commanding Officer Saluted him.

He went to Crews Mess and had a giant shoot the shit with the duty section and must of had a great time, because he kept coming back to the boat!

It was a sad day when the boat heard that he passed away.
