Police officers not charged for killing Breonna Taylor

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Kentucky grand jury brought no charges against Louisville police for the killing of Breonna Taylor during a drug raid gone wrong, with prosecutors saying Wednesday that two officers who fired their weapons at the Black woman were justified in using force to protect themselves.

The only charges brought by the grand jury were three counts of wanton endangerment against fired Officer Brett Hankison for shooting into Taylor's neighbors' homes during the raid on the night of March 13. The FBI is still investigating potential violations of federal law in the case.

  1. They should have charged Ben Crap with inciting riots and billed him for the damages.

  2. There was 8000 cash in drug money in the house. The dude she was sleeping with, not on the warrant shot a cop in the femoral artery. The cops returned fire. She died as a direct result of her own actions. Had she not run back and forth to drug houses, not let a drug dealer live with her, not been sleeping with another known felon and the dude the warrant was for, had she done right instead of wrong this would of never happened.
    Now on to the soapbox.

Sin creates a cascade of bad things. Had she been trained and followed the instructions in Proverbs of Soloman. Had she searched after knowledge and goodness, her life, and the lives of all the people involved would be better, longer, happier, more peaceful, and blessed by God. Instead she chose to serve evil, and her soul was required. If what I believe is true, (and it is) she will receive a reward for her actions in this life. Not all rewards are good.

    1. Yup, about as pure as the contents of the typical septic system.

  3. Criminals have been known to say they are cops before breaking in, and the first officer through the door was a plainclothes cop---poor planning. I'd have fired at them too.
I'm often on the cops' side, but not on this one.
