Pollster Explains His Finding That 10 Percent of Trump Supporters Lie on Surveys

The lead researcher of the study: “Are Election 2020 Poll Respondents Honest About Their Vote?” told Star News Network there are twice as many “shy voters” among the supporters of President Donald J. Trump than among supporters of former vice president Joseph J. Biden Jr.

“The term ‘shy voter’ has been floating around, so we use it because that is the term, which is closest to how people talk about this,” said Leib Litman, CloudResearch’s Co-CEO and chief research officer. In the United Kingdom, conservative voters lying to pollsters is so common they regularly referred to at “shy Tories.”

Among the results, Litman and his team found that 11.7 percent of Republicans would not report their true opinions about their preferred presidential candidate to telephone pollsters.

  1. This is what happens when commies berate, scorn, mock and violently abuse any support of the opposition. Intimidation is their game, ask any union member defending the secret ballot. I bet Trump's landslide in November will dwarf Ronald Reagan's. It has to be, otherwise the commies will steal it easily.

    1. I watch lots of single question polls and other BS polls where donations are being collected. Everywhere I see poll results, they are similar; Trump 70%, Biden 17%, and maybe 20% sometimes.

QAnon is going to have an October surprise around the end of Oct. The only ballots for President (and maybe others) will be presented by cell phone or computer after qualifying your ID and the results will all be on blockchain. And those votes will be the only ones counted.

  2. Of course we're shy voters. Who the hell wants to get beaten to death or lose their job simply because you think the other guy is going to destroy the country?

    1. I live in the DFW area. Used to see a lot of MAGA hats all over. Now, nary a one. I don't think folks have changed their politics, just no reason to paint a bullseye on your back for some half wit to start trouble with you.

Only time I wear mine is when I visit my daughter, just to annoy her.

  3. I would bet the percent is higher. In 2016, got a few of those polling calls and told them Clinton to mess with their results (might have worked!) but the larger issue here is the fact that 50% of the country wants to silence and/or harm the other 50% and why make yourself a target for these evil people?

    1. James, I did the same thing.

I mostly just hang up on pollsters because it's not worth my time. But every now and then, I would take the time.

  4. Fear of reprisal?
That's fake news. The democrats will leave you alone after they burn your business, home and town and then give in and vote for them.

    1. not even then, because if you are coerced into voting properly you still are not ideologically pure. After all, you only acknowledge 56 genders not the true 57 genders and your flawed thinking has you spouting the lies that not every white person is a racist, sexist homophobe.

  13. Someone should clue that pollster in that he hasn't seen lying to pollsters until he's looked at firearms polls that lead off with "Do you own a gun?"

Nope. Not a one. Even before that boating accident.
