Your Friday Morning Florida Report
MIAMI, Fla. – The owner of a private historical museum in Miami thought he was airing out some flag donations. The patio behind the building, where the long hedges were was tucked away in the back. What he didn’t realize was that only feet away, and within clear view of the backyard, high-rise condominium residents could see below what ended up being a distressing display.

ReplyDeleteSwastikas are a sacred Buddhist symbol. (Not to mention found almost universally throughout Eurasia in all manner of archeological sites.) I am offended that someone has the gall to be offended by the symbols of one of the world's great religions. Down with intolerance and hatred in all its forms.
ReplyDeleteThat said, putting out obvious Nazi flags was probably not a good decision. Nazis were not good people.
families have been distraught. People were crying in the building. [Complainant Frank Frione Jr.] said ‘I need to do something.’ We finally got in contact with the owner and he’s very embarrassed and he wants to make a donation to the charity of my choice,” Frione said.
Ah yes, the crying and then the shakedown. Didn't see that one coming.
