Citizens Groups Hold Rallies in Franklin, Knoxville to Declare ‘We Will Not Comply’ With Mask Mandates

Grassroots movements combating Tennessee’s never-ending mask mandates are gaining steam.

Tennessee Stands held a “Mask Free Tennessee Rally” Saturday on the Public Square in Franklin. A similar rally was held Sunday in Knoxville by No Mandates Tennessee.

  1. Yea, but what happens when wal mart & other grocers say screw it, you wanna shop here, you mask up. Masks will never go away & will become compulsory when liberalism becomes the state religion.

    1. Depending on where they are and how assholish they are about it, there might well be some unexplained fires.

    2. We have a face covering mandate here in Louisiana, signs are up at the doors requesting you wear one. I estimate half of the shoppers aren't wearing one , Wal-Mart included. I only wear one for my physical therapy and doctor's appointments. Local mom and pop hardware store I shop at told me " screw the governor and his mandates ".

  2. Still cannot figure out why TPTB have not yet mandated a specific size, style, and fabric that MUST be used for masks. I guess that would require far too much thinking and actual knowledge of the science that comes into play. More baffling yet is the fact that there is lots of money to be made from getting exclusive contracts for the masks mandated by the state-just think of all the kickbacks to be had for our overlords.

    1. There can't be any "actual knowledge of the science that comes into play" because there is no science involved.

An N95 mask to a beervirus is like a chainlink fence to a mosquito, while a cloth mask is approximately like running alone across an empty football field. Meanwhile, everything being said about "droplet size" is made-up guesses.

Wash your hands regularly and avoid touching your face. That's it. Masks serve no purpose other than social control.

  3. Went in a Duchess Shop to get some smoky treats last night and I was the only feller in the store without a mask. I had just got done trimming a few dozen hooves and the force was with me . Wet shit from the chicken coop mixed with goat berries permeated the place. The folks behind me in line stood a good three social distancing foot prints away . I'm fookin' Irish so social rejection does no more than make me smile real big .

  4. Liberalism will never become the state anything. There are way too many of US who will not live on our knees. Are you with us?

  5. Sadly I agree with Uber... and these big corporations are in bed with Uncle Sam (who got shutdown and who was declared mandatory?) We The People need to do some reminding who is in charge here. Government exists at our pleasure. We do not serve the Government, yet things appear to be the other way around at the moment!!

  6. The only place I wear a mask is the Doctor's office. They won't let you in the door without one. Other than that, I don't wear a mask and no one has said a thing to me. Of course, I'm in Florida and Governor De Santis has made going maskless a lot easier.

  7. I forgot to wear mine in the local Kroger yesterday. I was the only unmasked man and no body said anything. Kroger requires masks and it was over the county line in a mandate county but this is Georgia and the cops aren't being called. I've noticed that even in the mandate county no one wears masks in the gun stores.
