France announced a full nationwide lockdown for the second time this year and German officials imposed a partial four-week lockdown Wednesday, as governments across Europe sought to stop a fast-rising tide of coronavirus cases.

  1. I didn't realize President Trump was also running for Prime Minister of France and Chancellor of Germany, too. But these new lockdowns should stop him!

  2. Read something the other day on Zerohedge by a doctor who laid out the case for where in Wuhan the virus first started; he used reported infection data, layout of the city and its subway system and applied knowledge of the virus's changing genome in his approach to identify the one hospital out of over 40 that likely had the first infected patient. The most interesting claim is that there was not one, but two viruses that were released by the Chinese-one that is extremely virulent and a second that is a lot more mild. I am hearing cases of friends and family who are getting the bug but are not having a particularly bad time of it. Not saying that feeling weak and drawn out for several weeks is fun. Maybe the ever mutating virus runs out of steam pretty quickly???
