WASHINGTON — A deeply torn Senate is set to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, giving the country a ninth justice Monday as Republicans overpower Democratic opposition to secure President Donald Trump’s nominee the week before Election Day.

  1. Deeply torn, yup, the scorched earth policies of the communists have ended civility for years to come.

    1. The Demonrats can thank one of their own, Harry Reid, for the outcome of this vote. McConnell told Reid he'd regret changing the vote tally rules for SC Justices from 60 votes to a simple majority. Trump has stuck it up the Demonrats asses so far they're choking. The real irony here is that in Trump's second term, he'll get at least one more appointment, maybe two to go along with the four he'll have after today, not to mention the 300 or so that have been confirmed in lower courts.

"to see your enemies driven before you and listen to the lamentations of their women". Heh.

They don't care. Even if they don't get absolute power this time around, they know the long term demographics heavily favor them. Conservatives and TradAms are getting older, and the Left largely owns the young. They own about half the Ypipo and all but a statistically insignificant number of everyone else.

They played the long game very, very well.

Absolutely correct! Harry Reid is personally responsible for the confirmation of every justice Trump has nominated to the Supreme court. Gorsuch 54-45, Kavanaugh 50-48, Barrett 52-48.
      Thanks, Harry! HAHAHAHAHA!

    4. If Trump really wants to hit a grand slam he'll figure out a way to force Roberts out. You know, the old "to spend more time with family" crock of shit. On Nov. 4 tweet information that page 87 of Epstein's Little Black Book will be appearing on billboards in 100 cities across America-page 87 lists entries for client names beginning with "R". My guess is sell-out John will have his resignation on Trump's desk before sunrise on the 4th. Tell Mitch to have the next jurist approved by Thanksgiving.
