Personally, I like what he did. Legally, he was arrested for aggravated assault and reckless conduct. Gets to keep his firearms at this point, since no charges on firearms violations. Much as I hate to say it, he should've just yelled & flipped them off, and kept driving.
In a sane and lawful world, I believe his actions are inappropriate because He could have escaped without serious risk of injury by driving away. However in the skewed, lawless state of affairs we currently face this would appear to be the morally correct approach. If LEOs/prosecutors are going to allow mobs of people to interfere with random individuals then they need to allow individuals to deal with the mobs. Pretty soon it becomes clear why anarchy sucks compared to most forms of law and order.
The problem with drawing a gun, even if you are legally justified, is that this was obviously in one of those liberal cities, where they don't call the police on people laying down, blocking traffic. The Democrat prosecutor and the county DA will file charges on the man with the gun. One person simply cannot defend themselves anymore, in public, or even on their own home turf, as we saw with the man and woman, who stood on the front lawn with an AR and a cheap ass pistol, who were charged with a crime. For doing nothing more than defending their home and themselves.

If that's the case, I would have drove over the little fucks for jumping under my truck.
