We covered the idea that the recent ATF movements to regulate AR pistol braces as NFA items would have some blowback of Trump support. There has been further development.
At a gun show near here last weekend, two older men had several of this AR type (7.5-in. barrel, fixed brace) going for $650 ea. In fact, several people (individual private sales and dealers) were selling this variant. No one seemed concerned about ATF niceties, but scofflaw-ism is rampant in these parts.
Additional info on this: I failed to mention that these were being sold as "private sale", no background check, cash, no tax, and out the door. I LOVE AMERICA!
When "they" pick and choose which rules to enforce, many people will pick and choose which rules they feel like obeying. Newton was right: for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

DeleteSounds more like, "Put that off until after the election." rather than, "Stop that shit right fuckin' now!"
