I had another Moody Blues concert scheduled but apparently the youtube account was terminated in between the time I scheduled it this morning and now, so I'm throwing this one out instead.
It's a good one. Full orchestra treatment. It seems our generation (and I'm within days of being the same age as you) had really good taste in music. Nobody is going to be taking the crap that is popular music today and writing orchestra arrangements for it.
Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, shag carpet, black lights, Doritos and sour cream, Boones Farm Strawberry Hill, college girls and a 20 dollar bag of weed. Good times.
My absolutely all time favorite...there's something about rock and roll infused with classical... Moody Blues took it to another level. ELO is another. I've seen the Moody Blues at Radio City Music Hall with the NY Symphony Orchestra... you really feel as if you're in another world.
Das link ist kapput.
ReplyDeleteFuck. I put up another in it's place.
DeleteBreathe deep.
DeleteThe watchlights fade from room to room,
Another day's useless images spent.
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one...
Moody Blues? Never heard of 'em...
Trouble with getting old is the weird shit you remember.
Video gone.
ReplyDeleteWould be a good one two as that is a really neat spot.
It wasn't bad from the little I heard of it. I put another one up in it's place.
