Why is black capitalized and white isn't?

A Black man who was led by a rope by two white officers on horseback has sued the city of Galveston and its police department for $1 million, saying he suffered humiliation and fear during his arrest.

  4. Because the AP style book, that's why. These people are the ones trying to get the ultimate headlines by fomenting and screaming about the war between Whites and blacks. It's also in the Communist Manifesto.

  5. A local paper did an article on that: apparently, blacks share a common culture and history(slavery) and us Whites don't. For some reason they stopped allowing comments not long after...
