MARATHON, Fla. – A 29-year-old Florida Keys man is accused of shooting a flare gun at three people in another boat in Boot Key Harbor, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says.
He should be charged with piracy, as well as assault. He cut the boat loose so he could go back and then claim salvage rights on an adrift vessel. Theft on the open waters is piracy; hang his stupid hippie ass.
