As right-leaning social media users are abandoning Twitter and Facebook and flocking to alternative media sites in droves, the mainstream media is starting to see apps like Parler as a "threat," framing the concern that comes with a shrinking ability to control the masses as an issue of "echo chambers" and the supposed integrity of "democracy."
"People are going more and more into their own echo chambers, more and more into their own bubbles, especially Trump voters," Brian Stelter recently lamented on CNN.
Bwahahaha. As if CNN isn't one of the biggest echo chambers around.
ReplyDeleteGab.com is my go to.
ReplyDeleteSame here. Gab is easier to use than Parler. Plus, I'm not convinced that Parler isn't somehow connected with folks I don't particularly care for.
DeletePlus, Gab has been at it for 4 years. It hasn't been easy for them, and right now they are going through some growing pains because they are growing so fast.
I don't do any of that socialist media shit.

ReplyDeleteGood thing we live in a Republic instead of a democracy.
ReplyDeleteIt is a threat to "Democracy" but it is NOT a threat to a Republic. Karen and the Media do not understand the difference.
