An infamous Bellevue, WA tabby cat is at the center of a purr-fect storm of legal hiss-ues surrounding a government agency's prosecution of a family's cat and its owner. Purr-suit of the cat has has already cost King County tens, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees.
A perfect example of "Lawfare". Where those in control of the "system" use their authority and OUR tax dollars to wage a vendetta against a citizen to show them "WHO IS THE BOSS". Another example in and endless stream of "The Process Is The Punishment" cases. Where those in power KNOW they have no real basis for their legal shenanigans but also know that just dragging a citizen through the arduous and expensive process can destroy them. Political animals like this need to recieve justice....even if said justice arrives at night, anonymously.
ReplyDeleteAnimal rights people should be all over this, defending the cat. Cats roam. Hunting is the nature of the beast. My youngest's cat, let out at night, brought home rabbits, mice and other furry animals and one morning deposited on the deck a rattlesnake it had killed in a fight.
ReplyDeleteHate bringing it up, but was the author of that article about 16 fucking years old?
ReplyDeleteI pun here and there is ok, but godamn. Joke got old 3 paragraphs into it.
^^^^ What I thought too.
DeleteI was thinking the retard was 12.
DeleteIf the cat is doing that much damage why hasn't one of the neighbors shot it yet?
Delete@ Steve P - I'm not sure, but WA state is far left nut job state, so the neighbors probably don't own guns.
DeleteFeral cats are killers. Shoot on sight...
ReplyDeleteSame for abusive bureaucrats.
DeleteThe only difference between a feral cat and a "domestic" cat is that the domestic cat is used to being around humans and will eat the food provided. Otherwise, they are both equally destructive.
