Friday postings...

...aren't going to happen. As you all know, I post a day up front and I'm going to be with family on Thanksgiving all damned day long. After I get home I'm sinking my ass into my easy chair and try for a nap - if that asshole dog Jack will let me. But, because I'm going to be white about it, what I'm going to do is give you your regular Friday postings (from 12 AM to 11:45 PM) with all of Friday's regular features on Thursday. I'm going to spend Friday trying to figure out what's up with the videos and why they won't play for a lot of you. I dont know how much success I'm going to have seeing as Blogger does their updates regularly without any notification or input from the authors, but I'm going to hit the forums and see if it's a fuck-up on my part. Maybe it's something I did or didn't do, I don't know. If I can figure it out I'll be back Sunday with the regular videos. If I can't, I'll try to throw up a few posts. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving with family and friends, and we'll be back with our regularly scheduled programming for sure on Monday.

  1. No explanations are necessary. You do a yeomans work as it is, and we don’t say ‘thank you’ enough.

Take some time off. Enjoy the family. Eat like an escaped hostage and enjoy yourself. We'll be here when you get back to it.

    Have a great Thanksgiving.

  2. Actually Kenny it isn't just your blog, it is happening to a lot of other blogs and formats, a heads up so you won't go stir crazy fingering out something that isn't endemic just to your blog.

    2. I suspect it is youtoob as well in the background. Like I said private browsing add blockers and fuckery in general seem to be comfon for my issues yet others play. Don't sweat it Kenny we have put the alternate ways out there to get them to play. Around the same time this all started at Irish's place from my screen view which is white background the video links don't show but when I google the blog I get the black probably standard background and the video link shows up Happy Thanksgiving.

  3. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and don't put yourself out for us any more than usual.
This will be my first Thanksgiving alone without the large family gatherings we normally have for a variety of reasons, mostly medically at risk family members, but still damn it!
I think I will find myself at the local Pub having dinner with some close strangers who also have nothing else to do.
Blessings all and I sure hope we can get to the light at the end of this tunnel, something has to give and it seems like many ordinary folks are getting pretty tired of this two-tiered society we have theses days.

  5. no prob, take your time. throw an extra biscuit to jack, and yourself another coffee or something stronger. if all some people have to complain about is a video that doesn't play to their satisfaction, they need to reset their expectations or get a different viewpoint on life

  21. The two of y'all have a happy Thanksgiving, Kenny, & ignore any annoying-assed family (there are always some). Afterward, enjoy the company of each other, something for which to be truly thankful. Miss Lisa hasn't yet learned to run a backhoe, so you're safe for awhile!
