From Ruling Class to Oligarchy

By its campaign and conduct of the 2020 election, the ruling class ceased pretending to be part of a constitutional republic. By treating fellow Americans as inferiors through word and deed, its members renounced their common citizenship with us. Eschewing persuasion, they set about compelling obedience to an openly manipulated election.

    Fellow Americans? We're not even fellow human beings to those people. Our only purpose is to serve them. We shall plow, we shall reap, while the Elite "sits and eats like an effendi". And when done devouring the sweat of your brow, the Elite will corrupt your posterity. Mostly through popular culture and the public education system, but in some cases by literally raping your actual children. It's what Elites do. High IQ, neuroticism, deep-seated insecurity and self loathing, topped off with sexual deviancy and paranoid aggression are a terrible combination.

    I ccouldn't decide if we have become an oligarchy or Fascist. The classical economic definitions as I was taught back in the previous century were: Capitalism: private ownership of the means of production. Socialism: state ownership of the means of production. Communism: ownership of the means of production by the people. Fascism: private ownership but government control of the means of production.
    By these definitions, none fit. What I've been reading lately is that there is a merger of government and business and I don't think that government is in control. Oligarchy looks like a good fit.

      Nah, being farmers would require them to do work, and icky physical work, at that. It's just a priestly class run amok, issuing directives that they claim to receive from "the gods".
