How long will you have to wear a mask? Here’s what the experts say

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) — If you’re hoping the arrival of a coronavirus vaccine means you’ll be able to put away your mask, the experts warn we’re not to that finish line quiet yet.

It could take several months — probably well into 2021 — before things get back to something close to normal in the U.S. and Americans can once again go to the movies, cheer at an NBA game or give Grandma a hug.

  1. Luckily I'm immortal and have not died from not wearing a mask as the sheeple cower before me and my powers. Therefore there is no need for me to do such a thing. Other such immortals may arise.

  2. The movie houses will all be out of business by that time, the NBA had a small following before the Kung Flu, and Coumo killed Grandma.

    1. "the NBA had a small following"

You left out the word "domestic," lound-eye.

  3. Don't expect a layoff at the Chinaman mask factory any time in the near future. Left is going to dig in requiring a mask any time seasonal sniffles set in.

  5. I don't wear one, either. And not one person has said a word to me about it. My wife originally said it was because I "don't look like the guy you want to confront" (her words, I think I look unassuming and remarkably pleasant, considering how much bovine scatology I have to deal with). I have noticed that after passing people in a store a few times, a couple here and there suddenly seem to have lost their masks. Freedom can evidently be contagious, I guess.

    1. Yeah, something similar happens with me.
Folks assume I am angry and ready to initiate some 'tune-up' time on any random stranger(s).

      Fun Fact:
      * this's just my 'neutral' face.
My 'battle-face' is known to curl the tails of whimpering attack-dogs, and cause aliens to lock their doors as they scurry back to their home-world.

  6. Had the COVID. Bad case. Was in hospital. Got it while masking and social distancing as an essential employee. Now I am recovered. I am immune. I can’t get it. I can’t spread it. I am like millions of others. Except for the one off reinfection article our enemy media promotes, the growing numbers of immune people are not discussed. However, social justice warriors have taught me something. Asking me to distance or wear a mask is discrimination, pure and simple, based on health status. Now gimme my reparations.

  8. I don't know, because I never started.
What I did start, was learning about metabolic health, and how to improve it.
I keep telling people that the mask mandates and lockdowns are totally political and not medical, and that the proof of it is that they never ever mention how to improve your metabolic health. Not do they not ever mention that, but they "disappear" any youtube videos of doctors who do mention it, and let people know that improving your metabolic panel is the key to surviving the Kung Flu.
Can't have people be healthy! Because that would prove that mandates and lockdowns are not only totally unnecessary, but are detrimental to people's physical and mental health, and are bankrupting people everywhere.

  9. I've worn a mask twice since March, both times for doctor appointments. The greatest line yet came from a mask-guard at the door of the local Home Depot. She said, "Sir, we require masks to enter the store, unless you have a health condition which we are not allowed to ask you about. So welcome to Home Depot and have a nice day." She said this so rapidly and so smoothly you could tell she says it 100 times a day.

  10. "we will never "return to normal" until AFTER you are vaccinated", said some politicelebrety recently, and given MIT want to add a "naked to the human eye, dye" to be able to read your VACCINATION status with a cell phone or hand held device.
Didn't millions die during WW2 to STOP one group of people tattooing another?
sadness, those whose ancestors got tattoo'd now pushing for their goyum (cattle) to also be tattoo'd.

  11. This crap is never going away....ask again in a year. I got thrown out of yet another establishment today, not for not having a mask but wearing it improperly. Karens be damned as I will embarrass your ass without mercy! Good thing the masks showed up just in time to replace my filter.

  12. Told a fucker at the grocery store that a medical condition called Ocular-rectal Inversion prevents me from wearing a mask. He had never heard of that condition. I smiled and said it means I can't see my ass wearing one.

  13. Bullshit. The day I get that second dose of vax is the day I toss my masks. I mean, if I'm immune I can't catch it and if I can't catch it I can't spread it. What's so fucking difficult about that to understand ?

  14. I’ve gone from completely believing this bullshit to completely not giving a fuck. Doctors kill more people every year than Kungflu does. Funny how no one is dying of heart attacks or cancer anymore. Some PhD published a study stating annual deaths averaged over the last six years, including this year, have not changed by more than 10,000. It’s out there, just nowhere near as dangerous as advertised. I’ll be damned if I’m taking any shots turning me into a GMO. Just sayin... Eod1sg Ret
