Just when he thought he'd gotten away with it

Police in a small Detroit suburb stumbled onto the discovery of a lifetime recently when they charged a man for stealing hydrocodone pills from the local CVS pharmacy where he worked. 2. Wait... after being sentenced to life without parole, he was granted a temporary release to attend his grandmother’s funeral. Who in the fuck wouldn't run?

I know that shit happens today, but back then?
