Moss has only ever seen the body camera footage of Wolfe.
It was that footage that ultimately resulted in her being terminated from her job as a police officer in Westmoreland and saw her plead guilty to assault.

Westmoreland can't be that hard up for cops.
So, if you're a cop and commit a crime, you can get your record expunged?
ReplyDeleteHow's that work?
Local lawyer was using drugs and stole thousands of dollars from the firm he worked for. He got caught, pled guilty, did rehab, and kept his license. He was sentenced to years in prison but it was suspended for a certain number of years and if he stayed straight the case and conviction would disappear. One of the common people steals a few hundred dollars and we go to jail with no chance to make it go away. Law enforcement and the court system in Tennessee gives the appearance of being totally corrupt. Not saying it is, but if it quacks like a duck...
DeleteWhy the city council would allow that to happen is beyond me but they do have some explaining to do. Why was her law certifacte not pulled??? grayman
ReplyDeleteFolks, this is the quality of reporting we get out of Trashville. Not "pleaded guilty to" but "pleaded guilty of". Those dipshits can't even hire reporters/writers who successfully completed 3rd grade. Is it any wonder I haven't watched television for 25+ years?

The "report" says nothing about why the officer's record was expunged. It would seem to me that this would be a key piece of information to have if you're going to question the decision to rehire the officer. I'm coming in on this late but if she lost her job for what was shown in that clip used in the report, I'm even more confused. Where's the assault?
DeleteUh....don't run from the cops?
