Never Underestimate the Resolve of the American Patriot
The battle of Fort McHenry was a critical point in the War of 1812. Many people know that our national anthem stemmed from the valiant defense of Fort McHenry by American troops who refused to concede Baltimore harbor and withstood 27 hours of continual bombardment by British naval forces beginning Sept 13, 1814.

1812, that's when we were fighting King George, just like we are in 2020.
ReplyDeleteThere is a lesson to be learned by anybody under 55. Those 55 and older learned this in junior high school. The middle schooler's don't know early American history or Civics. They do not understand Socialism, Communism, Fascism, or Marxism much less a Constitutional Republic or God-forbid, a Democracy.
