No need for water wings

  1. What is not undrr the water is not keeping you afloat.
Either that is very salty water or something else is keeping her up.
What I explain to novice swimmers. If you want your nose, mouth and eyes to be out of the water, then everything else has to be under the water. Lift your arms out of the water and something else has to go under.

    1. You don't know what you are talking about. People can have all sorts of density differences. As a young man I had negative buoyancy, I could lay on the bottom of a pool. When I was in Navy Diving class with a wetsuit top and my tanks all I needed to balance out was a five pound weight. Others in my class were wearing 25 to 40 pounds of lead to make them balance out. My Dad floated like a cork and he wasn't fat. His body density was just different.

  3. See...this is why young men (and probably a lot of older men) do stupid things to impress such lovely creatures.
