Oregon and New Mexico order lockdowns, other states resist

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — The governors of Oregon and New Mexico ordered near-lockdowns Friday in the most aggressive response yet to the latest wave of coronavirus infections shattering records across the U.S., even as many of their counterparts in other states show little appetite for reimposing the hard-line restrictions of last spring.

    I don't care how many "infections" there are. If you can't show a sizable amount of deaths, you are just seeing the regularly scheduled seasonal flu, now being called COVID by low IQ politicians and lemming health care workers.

    Alaska just imposed a $25,000 fine for people coming into the state with out a 14 day quarantine or a negative with in 48 hours. I hope this triggers the Supreme Court to disallow these mandates.

    Underlying health issues, then stay home. Understandable.
    Too scared to go out, then stay home and decimate your immune system with sanitizing. But don't think for one second you have the right to impose that on me and my own. When the next on comes, and oh yes, there'll be a next one, you'll be so sickly, you really WILL die.

    Kate still does not understand that her 'mandate' does not pass the test as a 'law'. And her parroting Faucci with the 'do what you're told' trope just made a lot more enemies. Nope - we're inviting as many people as we can over - there's not shit she can really do, if it's taken to court.

    Sitting here in a sports bar in Oregon. Place is at capacity. No signs of lockdowns yet. Not sure if the actual orders haven't come down from Salem yet, or if we're just giving Kate Brown and her I'll the middle finger.
