For the life of me, I can't comprehend how anyone could commit a crime like this. If there is no question of guilt, this is why we have the death penalty. Give them both three days to get their affairs in order, during which time the State will ask for volunteers to serve on a firing squad. Please bring your own rifle, ammunition, and be able to hit something at close range. I'm betting they'd have several hundred in less than an hour.
Shooting them wouldn't be enough. Handcuff them and feed them, live, to hogs.
