Tired of being a helicopter mom

TULSA, Okla. - The mother of a man accused of leading officers on yet another chase, said her son needs to learn his lesson. News on 6 has covered Hunter Hines before for a previous chase that injured an officer, and for making a threat to then President Barack Obama. 

Regina Striplin is Hunter’s mom and keeps a large file on her son, who she admits has gotten into a lot of trouble over the years.

    I have a nephew like that. Last week he threatened to kill my sister. About the tenth time. Back to jail he goes.

    Single Mom. A little late with the learning tactics. I'll tell ya, growing up even in the 60's, every kid I knew in a single mom household was messed up in the head. Every single one.
