Dude will probably be charged with killing a police officer, just watch

BOONE COUNTY, Ill. (WFLA) — An Illinois deputy K-9 was killed Sunday when a suspected drunk driver crashed into the back of a patrol car.

“It’s with a heavy heart the Boone County Sheriff’s Office has to report that K-9 Loki was killed in the line of duty,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook.

  1. No, but charges do exist for the intentional or negligent deaths of animals in police service.

    1. "intentional or negligent deaths of animals in police service" How about the negligent (police-shooting) deaths of dogs in the hands of Citizens protecting their master's home, family and possessions, or just beloved family pets and companions? Who charges the badge gang of enforcers? Oh, right, no one...

  2. You harm a K9 and your charged assaulting a police officer but when a cop kills your dog in your yard for no good reason all you get is a hole to dig. My dogs are part and parcel of my family

    1. I'll consider a police dog a police officer when I hear the police dog recite the same oath as a police officer.
