    1. One of mine was sent to live on a farm and when I asked about him later, he'd been hit by a train. Kids don't forget that shit. I'm 79.

  2. To be dropped off at the rooftop Koreans house for “lunch”

  3. I always thought the second generation Corvette, the one on the left, was the best looking one anyway. VW Thing in front. Daryl

  4. Hope I'm not posting twice. I tried to zoom in on the sliver and what I had started typing was gone. Anyway, I had said I don't much care for the yellow modern car but the silver one on the left I'm drooling over. What is it about a 68 Stingray? If it is a four on the floor 427 I'm crying.

    1. 67 was the last year of the Stingray I believe. I'd take that one over the the ugly banana any day.

    2. Yup, I believe you are correct. I remember in 69 they came out with the high front wheel wells on the hood. I haven't liked a corvettes looks since 69. I'd love to have a 66 Stingray or a 66 XKE. I think the Jag had three carburetors and are a bitch to tune but when tuned they are something. Three Deuces.

  5. Dog needs to run a few miles in the morning, then it will sleep most of the day.

  6. Big deal. The dog doesn't like yellow.

  7. Near on 50-years ago we had a small beagle-Heinz mix that simply had attitude against anyone outside of family. Otherwise he checked all the “good dog” boxes. Finally a family friend in need of a watchdog/companion offered to take him to his place up in the Shenandoah. Living the good life, Pooch lived out his days "flank-to-flank" protecting all property in view - including the family works - against all domestic enemies and maybe a few intruders.

    1. I lived twenty-five years in The Valley. Great memories, great place for a dog.
