Now why doesn't this surprise me...

If you agreed with President Trump’s “Make America Great Again” approach to governance, then brace yourself, as all of it could soon be subject to dismantling if Joe Biden is successful in his bid for the presidency. The changes will be of both the macro and micro variety. Some that appear minor are actually very significant. One such example is the war on language, specifically the term “illegal alien.”

  2. Didn't Trump start the dismantling himself by signing the Covid Bill? I understand it has all kind of specifics on the wall, taxes, etc. that are totally unrelated to Covid.

    1. Not really. What he did was sign off on it after doing a line-by-line veto. Something Reagan got passed and no President (undocumented politician) has ever used. Don't fret, it isn't going to fly. The commies will rip it up.

    2. No President has used it because the Supreme Court ruled that it was unconstitutional because the Constitution does lay out the basics of how bills, including spending Bill's, become law (or not) and the only veto mentioned is an all-or-nothing signing or veto. Therefore, a Constitutional amendment is needed to change that. Tellingly, no serious effort has been made in Congress to start the process for a line-item veto Amendment. Nor for one limiting Bill's to a single purpose instead of great swarms of riders hitchhiking on top of a necessary bill. Both of these amendments drastically limit Congressional power to horse trade and pile on pork, so you can see why Congress will never pass these and send them to the states for their approvals. Only a Convention of the States for proposing amendments would have a prayer of doing so, but no Washington establishment types want one, nor do a lot of regular people who haven't bothered to read the very specific rules about the limited amendments that can be proposed and then sent on to get the approval of at least 75% of the states (i.e., each amendment is limited to a specific part of the Constitution and no grab bag amendments are allowed, such as, "This Amendment replaces the old Constitution and all of its amendments with the following text: ..." And for those who fear things like an Amendment repealing the 2nd Amendment, well, if they honestly believe that they can't get 13 states to not approve it (not even vote "no", just not vote "yes", including just not voting on it at all like some states did with the ERA), then I might buy into the Private Hicks wailing of, "It's game over, man! Game over!" I've heard that a quarter-century or more now and it sure as fuck isn't over yet unless people just give up. Which makes me wonder how many of the moaners are either paid trolls or have simply fallen for the disinformation pumped out by or on behalf of the Democrats and GOPe. 25 years ago, there was 1 state with Constitutional carry. Now there are 14, with 2 more limited to residents of the state, 1 (Montana) limited to outside city limits for concealed carry, but open carry without a permit has been legal for many years. And there are others working on it. If you live in one of those states and still think your state .gov will roll over on repealing the 2nd Amendment, it's only because gun owners in those states and a lot of others have laid down and died of apathy and despair. I don't see that happening. Like most people, I can't do much in D.C., but I sure as hell can work locally, and drive to my state capitol for demonstrations/protests, etc., when necessary.

  4. From this point forward, I will not refer to illegal aliens as such. I will just refer to them by their actual legal status and just call them "illegals'.

  5. I would expect nothing less than the Left changing out what DJT has done. But I also think they will overplay their hand and working so hard to get thing right back where Obama left off, the U.S. voter will quickly realize what losing Trump is. Losing a leader who has the interests of the USA ahead of a globalist agenda. The frog will not be allowed to cook so slow.
