A girl what had a good Dad. At eight years of age if I broke everything free my daughter could gap and change the plugs, oil and filter and put in and set double points on a 383. Plus condenser. I don't mean setting points with a match book, she knew how to use a feeler gauge and could set the timing.
Yes awesome but was waiting for the fish to get her fingers which would really have hurt. I think muskie as well but have not fished up north that much. I have bagged a 5 pound pike though fun fight
Been catching northerns my whole life. Best eating fish in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteYep once you get around that “Y” bone.
DeleteAgreed. Nothing better than fried northerner.
DeleteBut they're a bitch to clean.

Was that a Pike or Sturgeon?
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure it was a Muskie. That would be one YUGE Pike if it was...
DeleteYUGE Pike. I've been catching them my whole life but never one that large.
DeleteNorthern Pike, we call them jackfish in Saskatchewan.
