TN lawmaker: Rejection of TX lawsuit is 'backhand at reckless attempt' to reverse election

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Tennessee lawmaker is speaking out once again after the Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit filed by the state of Texas in an attempt to overturn results of the 2020 presidential election.
"Most conservative Supreme Court in a century delivers a swift backhand to reckless attempt to overturn a presidential election," Tennessee Senate Minority Leader Jeff Yarbro said on Friday.

  1. It saddens me to see that objecting to violations of the Constitution of These United States is "seditious", "reckless", and "embarrassing".

  2. There is one in every crowd. Only one way to right what is wrong with this country. If Trump doesn't throw down the gauntlet now he can forget 2024. For one there wont be anything left and for seconds if he doesn't have the balls to stand up for the Americans that voted for him now and were robbed, sure as shit aint gonna need him 4 fucking years from now. Forget the SCOTUS and all the RINO, Barr, Hunter, bullshit and get on with it. Media and big Tech first. Diplomacy and talk have failed once again. The only thing a bully understands is a big fucking stick.

  3. The Deep State Masters have to keep the peasants in line. The "back-hand" implement in this case appears to be of peasant stock, but it's still controlled by The Washington D.C. Beltway Politician's club. Thus Proving the "Constitution' is nothing more than a yellowing piece of parchment.

Peasant, that's what it was from day one. It only served to bind those who accepted being bound.

  4. In 2016, the Democrat machine thought Hillary had things in the bag, and didn't bother to rig things. They have been cheating at elections for decades. They didn't make that mistake this time. Everyone knows in their heart that this election was filled with fraud. Just like everyone knows at this late date, a change in the outcome would be just as fraught with danger to our country as overturning the outcome would be. Remember, they are voting in the Electoral College today.

    1. They most certainly did rig things in 2016, by at least 5 million fake votes. They merely increased the effort this time, by tens of millions of fake votes.

  5. A blow-dried haircut and previous orthodontic work doesn't hide his essential nature. Harvard grad, UVA law school, UVA Law Review editor-in-chief, clerkship for a Carter-appointee federal judge. Pretty typical path for a mid-tier swamp creature.

What pisses me off the most about such creatures is that they are either stupid, or venal, or both. Just like Swalwell, Yarbro will NEVER be allowed real power by either of the groups contending for control of the US. The Chinese would never let a Big Nose sit at the grownups' table. Similarly, the group already 70% running the US will never let him into their real circles of power or wealth.

    1. Real access doesn't matter to many. They're happy just to have more money, power, and privilege than the rabble. Barons were pretty lowly nobles, but history doesn't have many examples of them throwing aside their titles to rejoin the peasantry.

    2. Stupid or not, they are always venal.

  6. President Trump still has enough in his trick bag of EO's to gum this thing up for at least six months. And in that time, the truth will be revealed, as in actually "releasing the Kraken".
