Many might be surprised to learn a CNN-Kaiser survey found that 61 percent of Black respondents, but only 51 percent of white respondents, believed that the breakdown of the Black family was a major cause of Black poverty, while only 11 percent of Black respondents but 18 percent of white respondents believed it was no cause at all.

ReplyDeleteWorking in foster Care for 26 years, I could count on 1 hand the number of cases I saw with a married couple raising their own kids. In those few cases with a married couple raising their own kids they both had serious mental health/ substance abuse issues. most cases were single parents with substance or mental health issues, if there had been a spouse they could have picked up the slack.
ReplyDeletePer the headline's "....Don't Ask Liberals" is the exact tactic I use. There is not an opinion of a liberal on the face of the earth I feel is worth listening to. The operative here is 'liberal', a term that says an awful lot about such a person, and not much of what it says is good.
