First, everyone involved with getting the vaccine to you has had their liability waived under the PREP Act. This includes everyone from the government planners of the vaccine program down to the doctor, nurse or even pharmacy intern who injects you. None can be sued in federal or state court, unless they willfully tried to harm you. And it is virtually impossible to show willful misconduct.

Spoke to an attorney. If your employer requires you to take the vaccine for your job, they can be held liable. See an attorney for a form that your employer can sign, assuming liability for any injury to you as a result of the vaccine. Catch-22 for them. If they refuse to sign, you don’t have to take it. If they fire you they get sued for trying to force a medical decision on you. This of course may not apply to “at will” contracts.

Come on folks. Unless they/someone makes this mandatory, this topic should be a no brainer. EVERYTHING has some inherent risk and those that aren't willing to accept that need to just not get the vaccine (or eat the food, or drive the vehicle insert situation here). There shouldn't be a "financial option" if things don't go your way. But my tune changes if there's mandatory participation in something. Then someone has to be held accountable if I'm forced into it. I for one will not get the vaccine cause I'm 55, not worried about the rona and don't get the flu vaccine either. However, my 75 year old mother, on my advice, will get the vaccine. God forbid she has a reaction but if so, it's an inherent risk we knew going on.

ReplyDeleteI'm in England and what passes for a govt here have said it won't be mandatory, well once our lot officially deny something you know full well the opposite will happen, so it will be mandatory, but only if you wish to leave the house, or work or do anything other than stay in your home.
If my employer suggests we have to take the vaccine i'll be straight on to my union legal dept to come up with the necessary liability forms.

Just reading the possible side effects that can be caused by this vaccine would give me pause to take it. From what I have read, they seem to be similar to the actual symptoms of the coronavirus itself. Plus, in their testing, with both real vaccine and placebo, there were 4 cases of Bell's Palsy in the vaccine group, which the scientists say is the same as would occur in the general population, but there were no, I repeat no instances of Bell's Palsy in the placebo group.
ReplyDeleteUsually in the placebo group of any medical trial, there are some side effects even that group just due to what has come to be called the placebo effect. Meaning that the mind causes the body to subconsciously have a similar reaction to the injection as that of the real vaccine or other drug being tested.
I have been involved in medical testing for new migraine control drugs, and have always been in the placebo group. I never reported any side effects, but I can see how it could happen. Yet no one reported any symptoms of Bell's Palsy unless they were actually getting the real drug in this vaccine testing.
They claim that the rush to bring this drug to market didn't force them to cut any corners. If so, they how will they justify future drugs taking years to be approved?

ReplyDeleteAustralia halted administering the vaccine as patients tested positive for HIV. Yes, the virus was created in a lab using HIV genetic material, so the vaccine has HIV gene sequences. Bill Gates is partnered with Moderna, which developed vaccines notable for including remotely programmable microchips (for birth control), so you just might receive something extra in your body. Moderna is one of the companies that developed a ccp virus vaccine. Worst of all, the vaccine may have been developed using cells from aborted babies, so you will be complicit in the abortion trade.
