"Accidentally" - sure, uh-huh, you bet

A member of a cleaning crew appears to have accidentally opened a holding cell on the Police Bureau’s detective floor, allowing the suspect in an attempted murder of a police officer to escape, race down a stairwell and head out a door on the south side of the building, police said Monday.

    Didn't realize prosecutor Mike Schmidt had a night job as a janitor. Maybe they should pay him better.

    Perhaps that member of the "cleaning crew" should be in the cell until the original occupant is located.

    HHHMMMM A member of the cleaning crew was given a set of keys which had the key to an occupied holding cell on the ring was NOT escorted to the holding cell area. Somebody got some splaining to do.
