Metro police said a total of 109 criminal homicides occurred in Nashville between Jan. 1, 2020 and Dec. 31, 2020. That number was up from 84 during that same time period in 2019 and 88 in 2018.

I can't open a Nashville news site without reading about a murder and/or several shooting that took place the day before. It's an every day thing there.
When I lived in California, I thought Oakland was bad but that city doesn't hold a candle to Nashville.
If you think Nashville is bad take a look at Memphis.
