I'll never understand why so many of Lee's officers had their head up their ass that day. Lee had everything going that day but lost control of his officers. They either did what they wanted or drugged their feet getting there or didn't do their assigned task that day. Ticks me off ever time I read a book on Gettyburg battle. That 1st day changed could have changed history for freedom or being a slave to yankees.
