Justice Department warns of national security fallout from Capitol Hill insurrection

The mob that rampaged inside the halls of Congress on Wednesday might have taken a lot more than Americans’ illusions of invulnerability.

“National security equities” may have been among the records stolen from the Capitol on Wednesday when pro-Trump insurgents stormed the building and looted several congressional offices, the Justice Department said in a briefing Thursday.

  1. What the hell are "national security equities"?

Is it some super-confidential Democrat black list of conservatives destined for the camps?

  3. I would like to see some video of the rioting. So far, I've seen protestors ambling between the velvet ropes in the Capitol Building as if they were taking a tour, or massing on the grass to hear the President. I would also like to see the extensive damage wrought by the rioters - you know, all the windows broken, the looted offices, the burning piles of furniture, etc. So far, nothing.

I had heard, however, that some of the protestors have been charged: Violating curfew; ignoring orders to disperse. Yep. Pretty heavy serious stuff, there. Nation-toppling.

    1. Per your request, Aggie.
      From MSNBC:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnFnB8wMvCQ
      supposed damage, from 0:28-1:08
      crowd footage, from 1:38-2:48
Suggest turning off the sound, to avoid distracting stupidity.
Personally, I don't believe any of it is real. But the lib viewers do.

  5. Rampaging mobs? No, not really. Smart cover types who realized that they would have fantastic cover to sneak in and swipe some shit or do other deviltry? Seems pretty reasonable.

  6. On active duty for over 20 years, and dealt with classified junk from Confidential up to TS SCI. At all levels of classification, the material must be in your possession or locked in a secure file cabinet or safe (for the TS stuff), and NOT left out where a passer-by could pick it up.

    1. Same thing when I was in the army dealing with TS material. I inspected and signed for it, it stayed in my possession the entire time I needed it, and when I turned it back in, Operations inspected and signed for it.

    2. Yep. I'm pretty sure we three and Hillary all signed the same paperwork and I've seen lives and careers ruined over that stuff.

  7. "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable." -- JFK

Tried the peaceful way with votes in 2 elections, and were cheated and defrauded, thus making peaceful revolution impossible. Ergo...

  9. Hell, I doubt the Justice Department could find the spare roll of toilet paper in the john when the roller goes empty.

  10. What they need to investigate is who are the dumbfucks leaving unsecured national security files laying around?
