...may or may not happen. Lisa's youngest son and his wife are planning to drive down from southern Indiana tomorrow evening for a Sunday visit. Seeing as I post a day up front, posting on this blog is going to have to take a back seat to me being a semi gracious host.
It may or may not happen - they had planned to do this last weekend but work interfered with their plans and that might happen again this weekend. Unfortunately, I won't find out until Saturday afternoon which is my day off, so I'm giving y'all fair warning today.
No worries Ken. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up and thank you for all the work you put into this site!
ReplyDeleteGo enjoy your weekend wirecutter, we'll figure out a way to survive a lax day or two for you and your family. See you in a few. Rock On 🤟

You worry too damn much about us, your readers are grown ass adults and realize you have a life too. Enjoy the family, see ya when you return. A sincere thank you for an enjoyable read (everyday & multiple times a day)
ReplyDeleteNo, I worry about getting hit with a couple hundred emails from readers wanting to know if I'm all right.
DeleteWhy does that not surprise me?!
DeleteHey Ken, you all right? Lol
DeleteCongratulations on passing 20 million hits. You deserve a day off.
I'll be damned, I did, huh?
DeleteYep you however don't need to be so detailed. Keep your information unless you think we need to know.
DeleteAn "I'm outta here Sat. and Sunday" is sufficient. Do enjoy however.
We all will still be here when you come back. Enjoy your time with family!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the visit, we'll wait.
ReplyDeleteHave a great family visit Ken. We'll be here when you get back to the posting.
ReplyDeleteDude... For reals? Ooh. I need some faaamily time. Whatever.
ReplyDeletewhat the hell is a day off?
ReplyDeleteSouthern Indiana, what are all the pumps you see out in the fields? Natural gas or oil or something else? I rode the Trail of Tears starting at Red Clay and on the way home swung through Southern Indian in route to the Serpent Mound in Ohio. I always wondered what those pumps were pumping.
ReplyDeleteOil. Natural gas doesn't need a pump jack. If the well site has a lot of equipment on it, it's probably producing both oil and gas, and maybe some associated water - but the pump is just for liquids.
DeleteFamily first Kenny - life is too short to put all us hard-backs before your peeps.

Drove through that area once. Had to say I was wondering that myself. Did not really look like oil ground but a lot of it was under water at the time. Weird stuff.
ReplyDeleteAs to Monday, have a good time with the relatives. This and us can wait.
LOL sorry to be the jackass, but in the spirit of faceplant posts...if it works out and the sex is great...please post pics
ReplyDeleteEnjoy yourself.
ReplyDeleteNo need to show your hand as to how gracious you can be.
ReplyDeleteDamn, we let one Yankee in, they bring in more!
ReplyDeleteJust joking, Kenny. Enjoy the family time.
