My brother used to climb down a tree from his bedroom and take off. He climbed down one night and turned and my mother was standing right in front of him. Nothing had to be said, he turned around, climbed the tree and went back to his room.
Knuckleheaded 7 yr old grandson was dropped off today for me and The Boss to watch for a while. He thought he snuck into my bedroom and passed me to hide to try and frighten me next possible chance (a little game we play). I stepped out the door and hid outside. After a minute or two he came out and got a big, booming BOO!
He literally yanked his feet off the floor and then went down on his ass like a sack of taters. What good fun! He couldn't stop laughing while he was sputtering and trying to be PO'd at me for beating him at The Game.
Kids are never as smart as they believe they are.
