Tennessee reports increase in chronic wasting disease in deer
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission reports for the 2020-2021 season, 556 deer tested positive for chronic wasting disease with another 2,319 tests pending.
So what? State and Federal agencies use CWD because they can request larger budgets "to manage the disease"...so they can eradicate it, all the while deer and elk populations will naturally gain a resistance to it on their own. Sound familiar? SARS CoV-2, aka Covid-19??? When was the last time anyone eliminated the common cold virus? CWD is a non-starter, but doesn't stop "authorities" from hyperventilating about it. Just don't eat the brain.
Cronic wasting? It's deers suffering from anorexia. That calls for a 100 million dollar Federal study into deer stress.
